Together we make Calgary a great place to make a living, a great place to make a life. values The City of Calgary As a Gymnastics/Trampoline Instructor, you will plan, implement and teach recreational gymnastics and/or trampoline programs to help participants develop their skill base and knowledge in this area. Primary duties include: Teach specific gymnastics and/or trampoline skills to participants. Develop lesson plans and resources for programs. Provide safety expertise for participants. Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies and facility space. Maintain program records and assist with program evaluation and documentation. Provide positive role modelling and give direction to junior leaders and/or volunteers when required. Qualifications Must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Current Standard First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level “C”, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications. National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) level 1 or 2 in gymnastics or trampoline and/or a NCCP level 1 or 2 in trampoline technical and practical certification. Previous leadership and instructional experience in gymnastics and/or trampoline programs, preferably working with youth. Effective communication, leadership and teamwork skills along with the ability to take initiative.
