• Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, water fountains, and all touch spots.
  • Cleans and polishes metalwork, such as fixtures, fittings, and elevators.
  • Sweeps, mops, and vacuums floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners.
  • Dusts furniture, blinds, and shelves.
  • Empties wastebaskets, recyclables, compost and transports to disposal area.
  • Replenishes supplies.
  • Refills cleaning bottles with solution from dispenser.
  • Restocks paper towel and toilet paper dispensers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Requirements

  • Must have some secondary school education.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 month experience in a related field.
  • Must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate work schedules or special projects.
  • Must have knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) for the safe use and clean-up of hazardous materials.
  • Must have well developed customer service skills.
  • Depending on work assignment, may be required to hold a valid MTO class “G” driver’s license in good standing.
