What You Bring to the Job
 

Above all, you will bring a passion for the provision of high quality care to our residents. Your proven
track record of translating strategic initiatives into practical plans will prepare you to lead your team in
accordance with the Home’s Mission Statement, mandate of County Council, and requirements of the
Long-Term Care Home Act (2007) and its regulations. Your demonstrated expertise in organizing,
prioritizing and problem solving, continuous quality improvement processes and developing key
relationships will allow you to craft solutions to the most difficult of projects and circumstances. A keen
financial acumen will guide you as you develop, monitor and analyze annual operating and capital
budgets in response to Home and Corporate priorities. As the leader in a complex unionized
environment you will be able to demonstrate your consultative and transparent leadership style.

Your qualifications include an appropriate University degree, completion of a program in long term care
administration/management as prescribed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, and at least
5-7 years of senior level experience in geriatric care. You possess a comprehensive understanding of
all appropriate legislation and their respective regulations, by-laws, policies and procedures.
