Filling an existing vacancy, you will be responsible for the management of the Customer Service Unit and ensuring high-level administrative support to all service divisions and divisional managers of Community and Social Services. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing linkages between social services, organizations and other stakeholders through the development of an integrated service delivery model with a focus on front end customer services and back end services such as financial reporting, collections, records retention and accounting processes. You will coordinate the development and delivery of a range of projects, communication materials and quality improvement initiatives for Community and Social Services programs. You will provide information, data and trend analysis for use in strategic direction setting and decision making in Community and Social Services. You will administer Records and Information Management, including MFIPPA, for confidential client records for Community and Social Services. You will initiate and ensure implementation of leasehold improvements and manage day to day site facility issues along with lead special projects as identified that support internal operations and initiatives with other corporate departments. You will support the Joint Health and Safety Committee
You have a university degree in business or public administration, or other related discipline, combined with a minimum 3 years of experience gathered in a municipal or broader public, private or voluntary sector. You have experience with project management and can demonstrate experience planning and monitoring tasks. You are comfortable with basic accounting principles and data analysis and have a with a valid driver’s license. You have experience in program and asset management and administration. You have proven problem solving, conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills as a strategic thinker and team player. You have excellent oral and written communication, mathematical, organizational, time management, client service and team building skills. You must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office, and adapt at learning other program specific software along with a demonstrated ability to achieve performance objectives in a corporate environment, as well as being self-motivated and able to act independently and as part of a team.
